Free Wi-Fi is available throughout. Perfectly located, close to everything that matters. The rooms were outstanding, and what a shower - when you think you’re getting this out of a historical building, it’s really something to highlight. The Quod restaurant is the go-to spot to eat in Oxford and staff was always ready to help. One of the best places I stayed in the UK.

Built in the 17th century, the Bird in Hand Inn retains many period features including Cotswold stone walls and beamed ceilings. There is a large fireplace in the winter and a terrace for summer dining. Fantastic location and excellent food. Room and bathroom were very generous and were cleaned every day.

The inn offers hearty breakfasts and a traditional restaurant. This was our favorite place to stay during our Thames Path walk. The rooms are recently and stylishly renovated, and really look good. The ambience of this medieval inn was great. The beds are very comfortable, and the food at breakfast was fantastic. Dinner, with a reduced menu choice, was also good. Staff seemed eager to please.

Oxford Riverside Glamping is situated within private grounds adjacent to the River Thames. Oxford University is 4.3 miles away with direct buses from outside the main gate. Free private parking is available on site. What a beautiful place! We would definitely stay here again! The tents are gorgeous & beautifully supplied, the spot is so lovely with a bus right outside the gates into Oxford in 20 minutes.
