Its à la carte restaurant has a charming modern glass and timber frontage. The rooms were beautifully renovated. So comfortable and plenty of space. Great location on the waterfront of quaint Anstruther. Breakfast was lovely the next morning too. Our favorite place on our two week trip to Scotland.

We had a memorable stay with Gillie at the Cantrip Cottage. It has an idyllic location in the country, with pristine surroundings. The Cottage is charming with access to all modern conveniences. The room was immaculate with a fabulous view over the surrounding countryside. Gillie is a lovely, welcoming host, and she was friendly and warm. We were treated to a sumptuous home cooked breakfast by her (classic English B'fast) which kept us going for the entire week thereafter :) We loved our stay!!!

A former railway station set in 2 acres of landscaped garden, The Old Station Guest House comprises of the main building and a train carriage converted into suites. Guests can practise their golf on the lawns, while the famous seafront St Andrews Links are a 10-minute drive. The place was really neat with the train theme. Also, the breakfast was really good and the owners was really friendly.

The Ship Inn is located in Elie, 36 km from Edinburgh and 45 km from Perth. The inn has a terrace and views of the sea, and guests can enjoy a meal at the restaurant. The Ship Inn features free WiFi.
