Built in the 17th century, the Bird in Hand Inn retains many period features including Cotswold stone walls and beamed ceilings. There is a large fireplace in the winter and a terrace for summer dining. The hotel was nice . Although the location is such that you need to have your own car . The staff were very friendly and adjusting. For meals like dinner, we had to book in the advance in the morning as the kitchen would be busy . Room was really nice and big .... beautiful rooms ....

The Crown Inn is a beautiful building dating from 1633. Surrounded by Gloucestershire countryside, you can enjoy excellent views across the Golden Valley. Great food and delicious beer in a cosy pub. The area is beautiful. Very quiet place, beds are little bit soft but I slept well.
