Built in the 17th century, the Bird in Hand Inn retains many period features including Cotswold stone walls and beamed ceilings. There is a large fireplace in the winter and a terrace for summer dining. The hosts were wonderful, the accommodation was spotless, so comfortable and so authentic. The buildings were full of charm and character. The breakfast which was included was excellent. We also had an evening meal which wasn’t included and the food and service was excellent

The Crown Inn is a beautiful building dating from 1633. Surrounded by Gloucestershire countryside, you can enjoy excellent views across the Golden Valley. Great food and delicious beer in a cosy pub. The area is beautiful. Very quiet place, beds are little bit soft but I slept well.
