The owners are a lovely couple who enjoy interacting with their guests. They have put much thought and love into this charming and intimate hotel. The proximity to the ocean is another obvious plus.

We came in the off-season when restaurants are usually closed for dinner, but Bertrand cooked us an excellent meal instead. And since it was a little chilly out he made a roaring fire downstairs. Wouldn’t hesitate to book again.

It is a cosy and lovely place to stay, especially on the road trip to or from Spain. It is very quiet. I like the private parking. The big garden. And if you want to go for a walk, there is a forest on the opposite side of the road. I'm visiting this place for the second time. And will definitely come again.

The Lou Cout apartment is in the heart of the Basque region, 50 metres from the beach. It is decorated with Indonesian furniture and artworks, and has a fully-equipped kitchen, as well as free Wi-Fi.

Most important, the property manager Celine was thoughtful, efficient, extremely responsive and made our stay memorable. She is extraordinary! Vieux Boucaut is a small town with loads of ambiance. We plan to return to Lou Cout soon!

Each guest room at the Minvielle is individually decorated and is equipped with air conditioning and satellite TV. The room was large with a balcony, which had a table and chairs. The room and the building in which it resided looked a little tired. However, the bed was comfortable. The big surprise about this place was the absolutely superb restaurant. Both the food and the service was some of the best that we have experienced.
