Hotel de Toiras provides accommodation on the Île de Ré, next to the Saint-Martin-de-Ré harbour. Some rooms offer a view of the harbour. Toiras has a restaurant and a garden. From the moment we arrived to our departure, the staff was extremely warm and friendly. The hotel is perfectly located on the harbor and we had a splendid view of the harbor from our windows. The room was elegantly decorated and very comfortable, including the terrific mattress for a good night's sleep. It had a nice sitting area for reading and watching the news. The bathroom was large and supplied with Chopard amenities. The adjacent restaurant George's serves a very nice breakfast and a wonderful dinner.

This hotel is located in the heart of La Couarde-sur-Mer near a bird sanctuary and 500 metres from the sea. It offers en suite rooms, a bar and free WiFi. Super comfortable beds, lovely decor, very friendly staff/owners. Nothing was too much trouble. Car parking close by which was free for our stay (late sept). Nice continental breakfast.
