Only few minutes by car from the center of Lappeenranta, quiet neighborhood, perfect for a rest. The house is beautifully renovated, has a unique charm. The breakfast was fabulous, plentiful. We will be back for a longer stay!

Lovely picturesque place. Sadly we spent there only 1 night, this place worth to stay longer! It is an oasis of peace. At the same time, everyone can find their own activity there. We were also lucky with the weather, sunny 25 degrees.

Spahotel Casino is located on a private island on Lake Saimaa, 500 m from city center of Savonlinna and the 15th-century Olavinlinna Castle is 1.5 km away. Spahotel Casino’s pool and sauna area is available for guests for an extra cost. Private parking, WiFi and gym access are included. The room we were given in was outstanding with an exquisite view over Lake Saimaa. This was the best view we had from a hotel in our trip through Scandinavia. The staff was very accommodating and the breakfast had a large variety! The location of the hotel was perfect.

This central Hotelli Lähde hotel is on the shore of Lake Saimaa. It provides sauna access. All rooms have free internet.

Activities such as skiing, cycling, fishing can be enjoyed in the surroundings, and guests can relax along the beachfront. Both a ski equipment rental service and a bicycle rental service are available at the bed and breakfast, while hiking can be enjoyed nearby. Peaceful place, summer cottage wibe which may seem a bit shabby, but anyway good value for money. Our room was big, dog friendly!

Situated 50 metres from Retretti Train Station and 100 metres from Lake Pihlajavesi, Harjun Portti offers cottage accommodation with a private sauna, fully equipped kitchen and air conditioning. Parking and public area WiFi are free on site. Punkaharju city centre is 9 km away. Punkaharju Nature Reserve is located right next to the resort. Amazing place to get together with group of friends (30 of us had stayed for 3 nights) in a quiet beautiful surroundings of the lake, pine forest, and plenty of things to do. Helpful and friendly staff supervised by the owner able to accommodate any requests in a timely manner 10 out of 10

Hotel Oscar is next to the Warkaus-Sali Concert Hall in Varkaus, 1 km from Varkaus Station. It offers free WiFi, private parking and free access to a gym and sauna.

All guest rooms at Hotel Oscar have a flat-screen TV, work desk and black-out curtains. Some guest rooms also include an armchair. This hotel is a hidden gem! We enjoyed every minute of our stay. The staff was welcoming and friendly, the neighbourhood was beautiful and food was excellent. We especially enjoyed jogging in the park near by, hotel gym and lovely breakfast.

This hotel is 10 minutes’ walk from Joensuu Train Station and offers a sauna. Its air-conditioned rooms feature satellite TV and free 1 GB WiFi connection.

Scandic Joensuu’s modern rooms have a minibar and a desk. For extra comfort, some include bathrobes and tea/coffee facilities. Good location, private and quiet place good to relax. Very nice sauna. Good breakfast.

Scandic Patria is 400 metres from the 17th-century Lappeenranta Fortress and 2 km from Lappeenranta Train Station.

Patria’s relax department has a sauna and hot tub, and Nordic walking poles and bicycles can be borrowed from reception. Other facilities include a shop and a children’s playroom. Breakfast was excelent and had a wide selection. Hotel also had a gym and sauna, which was very nice.
