I don’t speak any Spanish apart from hello , thank you and goodbye and that my fault. The owners don’t speak English, why should they. Nevertheless they went out of their way to be helpful. The breakfast was wonderful. I would definitely stay here again. It’s not an hotel. It’s very good value for money.

There is a pillow menu, air conditioning and a flat-screen TV. We really enjoyed this little hotel. The woman at the reception desk was very friendly and helpful and it was great that she could speak English. Our Spanish is not good at all. The room was very clean and comfortable, nicely heated on the chilly night we were there and brightly lit. And they happily stored our bicycles safely overnight in a storage room by the reception.

You looked out from the room onto Albarracin - a beautiful view. Check-in was easy (once I followed the instructions!!) and the parking lot was just across the road. The room was well decorated and spacious.

The breakfast was particularly noteworthy. I had a wonderful breakfast at a reasonable price. If I have the chance to visit Alvalade again, I will definitely stay here again.
