The property was perfectly located just a few meters from Plaza Mayor and near all the old city’s landmarks. The staff were amazing and even sat with us to book our bus and train connections. Overall a wonderful stay!

Private parking is available on site at an additional cost. Location is amazing, the hotel is clean and so beautiful. Walking distance to everywhere. Its so nice and comfortable and cozy. I really did enjoy the breakfast too.

The NH Collection Salamanca Palacio de Castellanos is set in a former palace. It is built around a courtyard dating from the 15th century. The summer terrace is opposite the Convent and is open from 11:00 until 00:00. It offers views over the Convent and the Plaza del Concilio de Trento. What we liked most was staying in a palace, the Castelhanos Palace, and the second thing we liked most was the excellent location of the Hotel Palácio de Castelhanos.

You can enjoy wooden beams, robust stone walls and cosy lounge areas with inviting sofas and open fireplaces. There is also a spa area, offering a variety of treatments. Every staff member here seems to want to be here and are not just here as a job. From check in to restaurant to spa to wine tasting everyone is extremely caring and want to make the stay the best possible Food was delicious and huge portions. Wine is different which makes it a really good experience and not like everywhere else. Spa was brilliant and very relaxing. They are very particular about privacy in the spa so you actually land up getting a very private space for the time booked. Very thoughtful If you are in the area I would highly recommend at least a night stay. You will leave feeling like a princess/ prince when you leave as that's how much effort the staff put in.

It has been carefully restored to keep its structure and many of its features exactly as they have been for centuries. It offers lovely views of the countryside and features a seasonal outdoor pool, seating areas and a library. Stunning building and unpretentious. Great grounds for our dog. Staff friendly and efficient.

Set in Aldeadávila de la Ribera and with Freixo de Espada a Cinta Church reachable within 44 km, Hotel rural Rinconada de las Arribes offers a tour desk, non-smoking rooms, a shared lounge, free WiFi throughout the property and a terrace. The hotel features family rooms. The breakfast was very good. The room was spotlessly clean and very comfortable. The manager happily attended to a couple of requests (extra towels) and was extremely helpful with information about the area and suggestions for activities.
