On reception an instant room upgrade was given , had a lovely suite. Staff super warm, friendly and helpful. Location fantastic, spa thoroughly enjoyed along with excellent massages. Calm, peaceful very clean hotel. Breakfast, great selection. Totally enjoyed the stay here and whole ambiance.

The country-style Hotel Històric is in Girona’s old town, just 100 metres from Girona Cathedral. It offers soundproofed rooms with a flat-screen TV with satellite channels.

The modern rooms in Hotel Històric have original features such as 18th-century stone walls and wooden beams. We walked from the train station to the hotel with our luggage. I recommend a taxi, because it is uphill. The location is great for seeing historic Girona. The room is beautifully appointed in an historic building, which more than made up for the absence of views from the windows. The breakfast was excellent with a very comfortable well designed and appointed dining room as well. It is a friendly location for cyclists with nice display case homage to the sport in the hotel lobby area. We came as tourists, not cyclists and we appreciated the great walks from the hotel in the heart of historic Girona.

Els Jardins de la Martana can be found in the historic centre of Besalú, next to the famous Romanesque bridge. It has free Wi-Fi and mountain views.

All of the rooms in Jardins de la Martana have a private bathroom, as well as TV, minibar and telephone. It’s a lovely old fashioned hotel. All the staff are pleasant and attentive. Great view of the bridge from our room. Nice breakfast in the morning.

Rooms at the Hotel Marblau include a private bathroom. Some offer views of the river while others offer views of the city. Some rooms feature a balcony. We had a perfect stay here! The hotel is very cozy, comfortable, and just a short walk from the beaches. I’ve honestly never stayed in such a spotless place — everything was exceptionally clean. The beds were very comfortable, the atmosphere was quiet, and the breakfasts were excellent with a wide variety of food. The owners are incredibly kind and responsive, which made the stay even more special. Highly recommended — we would love to come back!

Canyelles Platja is located on the seafront just outside Roses with direct access to the beach. It has a swimming pool, a restaurant with sea views and free Wi-Fi access.

All rooms in Canyelles Platja have flat-screen satellite TV, air conditioning and a private balcony. Everything was great. I would even say amazing. Facilities are great, beach is right there and there is an underground walkway from the hotel to the beach with showers and restrooms. Beach is incredible with the best views and hiking paths to the other beaches. Breakfast was phenomenal as well as dinner. I would definitely consider coming back. Wonderful place.
