All air-conditioned rooms at Hostal Puerto Genovés feature a blue-and-white décor and classic furnishings. Each has a private bathroom with bath tub. Some rooms are adapted for wheelchair users. It was our second time staying and just as before all was perfect. It is ideally located within San José. All staff helpful and friendly. With breakfast included. It is definately where we will stay next we visit.

Most of the spacious rooms at Hotel Blanca Brisa Cabo de Gata have a private balcony. They are also heated, and the private bathroom comes equipped with a hairdryer, bath and shower. The hotel is in excellent condition. The staff all helpful and attentive. Good breakfasts, assisted by the lovely Fatima, and we ate in the restaurant on both evenings. Very good food and Diego is always there when needed. A well-run establishment!

Continental and vegetarian breakfast options with warm dishes, local specialities and fresh pastries are available. Guests can relax in the on-site lounge, while packed lunches are also available upon request. The staff, rooms and breakfast were excellent, location to the beach and the restaurants perfect.

19 km from Tabernas Desert in Tabernas, Cortijo Oro Verde B&B offers accommodation with access to a solarium. The property features pool and garden views, and is 5.8 km from Almeria Circuit. The country house also provides free WiFi, free private parking and facilities for disabled guests.

Sightseeing tours are available in the surroundings. Guests can swim in the pool with a view, go cycling or hiking or relax in the garden. We were looking for a quiet accomodation where we could rest after a long day of motorcycle endurance racing. This place absolutely exceeded our expectations, even though we were already super excited for it. Bernard, the owner was very friendly and polite, looking after us wonderfully (and so was Max, the dog :D ). The honesty bar was also a great idea, so overall we're very happy with our stay!

Set in a relaxed, natural environment, you can enjoy several outdoor activities such as hiking, climbing and cycling. There are also lots of water sports to choose such as water-skiing, jet-skiing, fishing, diving, and yachting. A sandy beach is 200 metres away. All was 100%, from the staff who’s really friendly and helpful to the location of the hotel the pool and especially the breakfast which was something else. If you have the opportunity to stay here, take it!

Offering views of the Sierra Cabrera Mountains, Boutique Hotel El Olivar is set in the historic town of Mojacar, in front of the Arbollón Square. The beach is 5 minutes’ drive away.

A homemade breakfast consisting of pastries, toasts and fruit juices is included at El Olivar. The guest house also features a sun terrace with a hammock, a cafeteria and a lounge, as well as a Finnish sauna. Everything was easy from car park, check in, breakfast and check out

Located in the Cabo de Gata Nature Reserve, Las Olas is just 200 metres from the beach in San José de Níjar. It offers air-conditioned accommodation with free WiFi and a balcony or terrace.

At Las Olas you can choose between studios and rooms. Each one comes with a flat-screen TV, and many have sea views. The studios also feature a kitchenette with a washing machine. The rooms with sea view do not have a kitchen, but include a fridge. Great apartment. Close to everything. We parked right out front. There is also more parking in the garage, but we were there in low season. There are some stairs involved. Nothing critical at all, but might be a problem for the elderly or mobile impaired.

Set in the beautiful Cabo de Gata Nature Reserve, Hotel Senderos is located 3 minutes’ walk from Agua Amarga Beach. It features an indoor swimming pool and a sun terrace.

Air-conditioned rooms feature minimalist décor and offers free WiFi, LED TV and a private bathroom. Some rooms have a terrace. The hotel is excellent. It’s very modern and very clean. The rooms are really impressive. Large and very nice furnishings. The facilities were exceptional for a relatively small hotel. Breakfast was very good. The staff were really happy and helpful.

Cortijo de la Media Luna is set in gardens, 5 minutes’ drive from Mojácar centre and the beach. It offers a sun terrace and free WiFi.

Air-conditioned rooms offer garden views and all come with a flat-screen TV and fridge. Superior rooms feature views of the garden. Private bathrooms include a bath or shower, a hairdryer and free toiletries. The house, the ambiance and Lourdes!

Featuring mountain views, Casas Rurales La Minilla offers accommodation with balcony, around 39 km from Museum of Almeria. Featuring a garden, the 1-star country house has air-conditioned rooms with free WiFi. Free private parking is available and the country house also provides bike hire for guests who want to explore the surrounding area. We absolutely loved our stay. The house was lovely, the location was beautiful and quiet. It felt like we were in the middle of the desert, but still, the nearest Mercadona was pretty close (15 minutes by car). We were even provided with drinkable water. Everything was perfect!
