Really cozy place with lots of details and perfectly clean. The garden is enormous and it has a trampoline, a small playhouse and they even let us play with some of their old toys. We stayed at the family room that has a queen bed and a double bed, with access to a small kitchen with fridge, kettle, microwave and sink, which was useful for preparing our picnics.

Dogs are welcome, and we took advantage of the short nature wall by the park that follows a placid, pretty stream. The hotel has an eclectic decor, with themed rooms that are full of character and comfort. And they are incredibly spacious, many of them perfectly suited for families or large parties. We stayed in the Karen Blixen suite and it was incredibly comfortable and restful. The breakfast has no hot food options (beyond boiled eggs at request and a self-serve.waffle-maker), but it had a great selection of musli, jams, bread and cheese, deli cuts, pastries, and more.

Location is great and the room that we got was very spacious and lovely - we loved the old school vibes! The bed was super comfy with fluffy pillows and warm covers. I appreciated the option to open windows and the blinds as I like to sleep in the dark. Breakfast didn’t have tons of options but all the staples were available; eggs, sausage, bacon, rolls + yoghurt and cereal and fresh fruit. No fresh juice but bottled drinks in several flavors were pretty good!
