Hotel Windschur is situated in Sankt Peter-Ording within the sand dunes and only 200 meters away from a 12 km long and 2 km wide beach.

There is a salon with a fire place and a bar to relax in the evening. Perfect location, very close to the beach and still close to the commercial area (15min walk). My room looked directly on the dune and nature and it was lovely. The staff was very nice and helpful. I only stayed one night but that's the kind of place I would stay for a few days to enjoy the sea.

I would recommend this hotel for a quiet getaway or base to explore the green countryside of northern Germany. I had a friend pick me up and deliver me back by car. When it came time to depart, there is a bus right outside the hotel into the town of Wedel, from where a train runs directly to Hamburg Airport.

From gorgeous views of the beach to restaurants near the water serving quick meals with a view.The resort was top notch. We rode the electric bikes through the woods and around a nearby castle! We even rode past a pair of beautiful horses grazing next to the fence. The breakfast was over the top serving Mimosa with an elaborate array of meats, eggs and breads.
