Hotel Millennium in Locarno is located right on the banks of Lake Maggiore, near the harbour and only a 2-minute walk from the Old Town and the train station. Excelent location, 2 min by foot from everything ( train station, Piazza grande and old town, harbour and boats across Lago Maggiore, bus stop to Madonna del Sasso), wonderful view from the balcony, gracious hosts (family run hotel with a cozy feeling)

Big and comfortable room with an amazing view. The staff were very polite and helpful. The breakfast and dinner at the restaurant were great, very tasty.

Nice and spacious room. Nice and clean bathroom with lots of towels. We could use an indoor pool. The outdoor pool wasn't open, but they did open it on our request. We had a very nice view from the balcony and the window in the room. Beds were clean and comfortable. Very good blind on the window allowed me to go to bed early in a dark room. There was a small refrigerator in the room with two small bottles of water. Breakfast was amazing, everything nice, really tasty and fresh. You couldn't possibly taste it all and eat there was so much of it. We got a coffee for breakfast and then we were offered another coffee. I was also able to hire for free walking poles. The whole place, everything we've used was nice and clean.

Featuring free WiFi and a restaurant, Boutique Hotel Albergo Brione offers accommodation in Brione sopra Minusio, a 15-minute drive from Locarno´s city centre and 23 km from Lugano. Continental breakfast only but this was well presented fresh and plenty of choice. Large room, with unique design but very functional and modern. Very quiet and peaceful.
