Family-run for 150 years, the Boutique Hotel Balm is located in a green suburb of Lucerne and features a gourmet restaurant with fish and other specialities and offers free WiFi in all rooms. The hotel also offers a seasonal outdoor swimming pool. Nice place to stay. Balcony view is best. Lady at reception was very helpful.

Most rooms offers views of the Chapel Bridge, the Jesuit Church and the Weinmarkt square. We got the room with river view + balcony. Great view, lots of amenities provided (or available per request), room was big enough and clean. If u have a balcony, suggest to call for room service at least for breakfast, so worth it.

Located at the summit of Mount Pilatus at 2,132 metres above sea level, the Hotel Bellevue is reachable by aerial tramway or the world's steepest cog railway in summer. It features a terrace with panoramic views over the Swiss Alps and the bay of Lucerne. I went in Oct and trip advisor suggested I was taking a risk as weather could be bad. I wanted to experience being above the clouds and or view of town from the mountain. I took the risk and it totally paid off. The view of mountain peaks sticking up in blanket of clouds was amazing. Although, you can do a day trip but you would miss the sunrise and sunset experience from the top. The dinner as well as the view from my room was amazing as well.

Close to the historic city center - it can be reached by bus (there's a nearby station) or easily by foot (around 10 - 15 minutes), but this place is also quiet and relaxing! The stuff is really friendly and we felt welcomed. Breakfast is delicious.

The family-owned 5-star Hotel Schweizerhof Luzern is located right in the Old Town of Lucerne, next to the lake. It offers a spa area and elegant rooms with modern furniture. The Culture and Convention Centre and the train station are only a 10-minute walk away. This was my third time staying at this lovely hotel. Prime location, friendly staff, and very good breakfast. Best hotel in Luzern in my opinion. I would like to thank Mar Margaret at the front desk and Mamu Dahy at the villa restaurant for making our experience exceptional! I have celebrated my birthday at the hotel with my family last year and this year too, and I can't wait for my future stay at this great hotel.

The rooms come with a flat-screen TV with cable channels. Some units feature a seating area where you can relax. Certain units have views of the mountain or city. Each room is equipped with a private bathroom and a hairdryer. We were fortunate to get an upgrade to the junior suite and we highly recommend this room! Amazing view of the street to watch the time go by in a separate sitting room attached to the bedroom. Room was huge, shower was great, bed was comfy. The room had a lot of coffee and tea available. Breakfast was stocked! So many different options. We didn't eat dinner at the restaurant for dinner, but it was packed both nights we were in Lucern. Would highly recommend this hotel!

Château Gütsch is set in a 19th-century castle, overlooking the town of Lucerne and Lake Lucerne, with views to the Rigi Mountain. The interior was renovated and designed by Martyn Lawrence Bullard. Free WiFi access is available. My friend and I love our stay at the hotel. The hotel located a top of a hill so we enjoyed the landscape view for the lake of Lucerne and the mountains. Our room was with lake view, the sun rise and sun set was breathtaking from our room. Amazing delicious breakfast. From the hotel there is a funicular that gets you straight to town. Friendly, helpful and always smiling staff :)))
