The architecture and the construction of the lodge was so impressive. It is a log structure that was meticulously crafted and built. And the stone fireplace complements the wooden interior. We stayed in a room in the lodge - it was very nicely appointed and the bed was very comfortable. The bathroom was serviceable although the shower was small and the shower head needed to be updated. There also are cabins on the property that seemed perfect for families. Breakfast was included with our booking and it was luscious. The breakfast entry was creative and very tasty - a great way to start the day and we enjoyed meeting and chatting with other guests. It was a very comfortable stay for us and we would return in a heartbeat!

The location is ideal for travelers visiting Yoho and Banff National Parks, including Lake Louise and Moraine Lake. Kat ensured we had everything we needed for our hikes and even booked our shuttle tickets to Lake Louise. Highly recommended!
