The goal of this trip was to relax and do nothing, and we did exactly that (well with a few amazing boat trips, jungle walks, and tons of snorkeling/swimming sprinkled in haha). Karien and Riann are excellent hosts, providing top-notch service to you throughout your stay. They are super kind and welcoming, also very helpful/flexible with booking and arranging things (e.g. boat trips and car transfers to/from the pousada). The Vila Pedra Mar team members are also very kind and helpful, making the stay extra comfortable such as tidying up the room every morning and evening. We appreciated everyone's amazing hospitality while we were there, always with warm smiles. The property is great with amazing snorkeling right off the dock! We saw many fishes and turtles just off their dock (and even stingrays on the boat trips to other beaches/islands). The walk to the fishing village is very short and easy (both Ponta da Barca and Frezza are nice restaurants to have lunch at, with Ponta da Barca being our favorite for the food and service). Both restaurants take credit/debit card. Riann's dinner service was delicious, a nice array of dishes (plenty of fresh seafood) and Karien's island-style eggs in the morning were always perfect. The bed is super comfy with the softest sheets and pillowcases. The a/c unit worked very well in the rooms. I also can't forget about their lovely cat, Nescau! He was such a relaxed and friendly kitty, living a great life on the island :) Overall, we had the best vacation here and hope to return one day!

The accommodation was beautiful and had everything we needed. The views were stunning, and well worth the climb up the steps (which wasn’t that bad anyway!). We really loved our time here and would love to come back one day.

Sitting right on Abraão Beach in Ilha Grande, Caiçara offers a sun terrace by the garden and air-conditioned rooms. Buffet breakfast is served daily in a bright dining area. Wi-Fi is available in the breakfast area.. The staff was excellent, particularly Ailiana (correct spelling?). She was so friendly, warm, energetic, understanding and welcoming. We booked a room at Pousada last minute after being unhappy with our previous booking. She was more than willing to accomodate us, help us out last minute and make sure that we were comfortable and welcome. It really made the whole experience amazing when she made sure to attend to our needs and find a beautiful, clean and comfortable room. She is wonderful! Thank you so much. Suites at Pousada Tagomago are spacious and bright, with plenty of natural light. All have air conditioning, minibar, and patios. Sofia made me feel so welcomed. Very cute eco nature b&b with nice view, close to a beach. Im sad I missed the yoga that they have.

Pousada Naturalia is located in a 1000 square metres tropical garden only 60 metres from Abraão Beach, in a quiet area. It offers accommodation with balcony and free Wi-Fi.

All rooms have private balconies with hammocks and are facing the ocean or the forest. They feature a practical design and are decorated with wooden details. All are air conditioned and include a ceiling fan, a minibar and a safe. We loved our stay: rooms are large and very clean. Breakfast is great (they have some home made pies or other things) and offer a snack in the afternoon (with the breakfast left overs which we thought was a great idea) Location is perfect if you want to stay central : uphill from the main beach and 10-15 min from the pier. It is located on the side of the beach where the cool bars / restaurants are (Che), but there is no noise The staff is really nice and they offer a snorkeling tour which we didnt do but looked better than the ones in Town
