Breakfast was fresh and nutritious and Marjory was a joy making us feel so welcome

The property is non-smoking and is located 14 km from Katoomba Scenic World. A straight 10! It’s a lovely cottage where every room radiates warmth and cosiness. It has everything ( and more) that you need. It’s clean, spacious, quiet and just a wonderful place to spend days away from the hustle ans bustle of the city. I highly recommend!

Housed in a building from 1902, Kurrara Historic Guest House features free WiFi. It is 15-minutes’ walk from the famous Three Sisters and 10 minutes from many restaurants in the Katoomba Town Centre.

The property has a guest lounge with gas fire, a 42-inch TV and a library. Sunny terraces provide the perfect place to relax over breakfast. We visited Katoomba to escape the daily grind, and the guesthouse was the perfect retreat. In just moments, we felt transported back to the early 1900s. We absolutely loved the maximalist decor and the charming common areas.

The hotel has beautifully appointed rooms on three levels, which are accessible via staircases however if you prefer a ground floor level, be sure to make your preference known when booking as there are no lifts available given the hotel is a heritage building. What a wonderful surprise the Palais Royale turned out to be. Elegant and timeless with character and a welcoming vibe. We would stay here again if we return.

High Mountains Inn Blackheath is a short 10-minute stroll to Blackheath village, where there are many restaurants and cafes. The Three Sisters at Echo Point is 10 minutes’ drive away. The motel was welcoming, clean, tidy and perfectly adequate for our 2 night visit to The Blue mountains Walk to the village for cafes and a few cute shops. Close to sunrise @ sunset views The autumn colours in the street behind were magnificent

This hotel will be one of my most memorable stays in Australia.. superb.
