I love how they resolved the issue of us being late and unable to check in properly by leaving a note on the door on where we could find the key and that we could check in the next day. The house itself was cosy and pleasant and we had a view on both the beach as well as the pool. There were cups for our drinks, possibility to make coffee and tea and a fridge. Everything was properly cleaned before arrival. I absolutely loved the wild life around. I spotted 5 iguanas, 2 pelicans and a bunch of small birds. Moreover, it is a nice and quiet area, perfect for relaxation.

This is a very idyllic place.. I cannot describe, if we would drive again to Key West next time will stop here for more nights! We booked this hotel initially because everything was fully booked in Key West but now we fell in love with Captain Pip! We stayed in many hotels and travelled a lot but the rooms here is nothing we've seen before, very special :)

Beautiful resort right on the water. We loved the location, beautiful views and beach. Restaurants and snorkling opportunities are right around the corner and Key West is about an hour drive away. It was great to have a kitchen and being able to enjoy our morning coffee and evening wine on the front porch overlooking the water. So relaxing!

This Marathon resort is opposite Florida Keys Country Club, 3.7 km from Sombrero Beach, and 17 minutes’ drive from dolphins and sea lions at Dolphin Research Center.

EVERYTHING! We stayed there for one night while on a two day visit to the Florida Keys while holidaying in South Beach, Miami. Staff were very friendly and the food in the Restaurant was very good. Best Steak I had in a long while! The Pool/Bar area was great and the night we were there (Tuesday), there was a very good band playing, that really made our evening. Even though they are renovating the grounds, we were very happy with our stay and have already recommended it to friends from NYC and they hope to visit there before year end.

Perfect for a family getaway while in the Keys during low season (we can imagine how crowded this must get), conveniently located mid-way if you consider taking a break before Key West or going back to Miami- the unit that we were staying at was fully renovated and facing the water, away from the main resort building- which allowed us to see beautiful sunsets in a perfectly quiet environment as well as conveniently located walking distance from one of the restaurant and the kids pool.
