The room was quiet and comfortable. The curtains worked well against the almost perpetual daylight, so sleeping was not a problem. We had to leave early to catch a train, and they volunteered to give us a take-away breakfast, which was ready when we checked out. There are plenty of eating places nearby, and we lucked on a really nice restaurant.

Excellent hotel right in the heart of Umea. We had a wonderful apartment with bath and sauna. the apartment was very clean and very big. Breakfast was great, and location is perfect. Check-in and late check-out were both great experiences. We highly recommend this hotel.

This hotel is about 10 minutes' walk from Umeå Central Station and 3 km from Umeå Airport. Rooms at Scandic Plaza Umeå feature wooden floors, cable TV and a modern bathroom with a shower.

Lovely spot in the city centre, very convenient location. Good size room with nice view.

Set in a former medical officer’s villa, this central Umeå hotel is 100 metres from the Ume River. Sauna, relaxation area and WiFi access are free, as is a light evening buffet.

Staff were wonderful. Everything was explained well on check-in when they found i had an early flight they offered a breakfast take away bag which was there in the morning. Coffee available all day and a meal included for dinner, meant I did not have to go out.
