Extremely quiet location - far from all the noise (with the exception of sea waves - which are pleasant though). The hotel is spacious, and the surroundings (greenery) are well maintained. The staff is very friendly. Since it gets dark quite quickly in the winter, we had fun playing billiards and table tennis in the evening.

On the southern coast of Sao Miguel Island, Vinha da Areia Beach Hotel is a cozy, comfortable, family friendly hotel.

An absolutely exceptional accomondation, it might've easily been the best hotel I've ever been to. It certainly beated even all five-star ones on my list at the moment. The room was amazing, spacious and comfortable. The bed was perfect (and big, too). The area is scenic, the breakfast is delicious. The hotel restaurant and the bar offer really good food and drinks.

from moment 1 it's all about the visitor. We arrived later than the opening hours from the restaurant since our flight was delayed. They've provided a light evening meal without even asking. The location is well isolated. The room and facilities are clean. They upgraded my room for free so I was really happy with my stay. I did not use the pool cause of bad weather so cannot comment on it. The view is beautiful
