We had a wonderful room with a city view. The property is beautiful on the exterior as well as the interior. What made this place stand out was the wonderful staff, we could not have more gratitude for their kindness and assistance. Great guest house, great location, off-site but nearby secure parking, wonderful city views, and amazing staff!

Great newly renovated hotel. When you look the room photos you can't say that the hotel itself is so stylish and well-designed. The location is a bit uphill, but the whole city is about going up and down. As to the "prison view" that several commentators mentioned - it looks more like a big church or something, or like a regular building, so nothing scary, not a problem at all.

The hotel location is the best in Coimbra - just cross the road and you are in the old city. The hotel have arangment with near by parking, free for the gusts, and we left our car even after checking out the hotel. The triple room is nice and functional with a great water flow in the bathroom and very comfortable beds. Bonus - a lovely seating area on the roof of the hotel overlooking old Coimbra. We sat in the evening with a glass of Campari and a blanket on our laps and enjoyed every moment. We arrived at this old-fashioned hotel without any expectations, and left very satisfied with our choice.
