The staff surprised us with cake and a bottle of wine on our arrival (it was my husband's bday). Beautiful hotel, spectacular views, great food, friendly staff, a chef's garden, vineyard and relaxing pools and spa. We enjoyed our time relaxing. What a wonderful treat after walking the camino portugese. The sommelier, Ferminio, was so friendly and kind. We will recommend to friends and family.

It was the perfect stop for our family. The location was perfect. It was quiet, peaceful and the view is amazing. The swimming pool was a big hit for the kids. The game room had a pool table which was perfect for us to spend some fun times. The staff was so polite and helpful. The breakfast was also delicious. All in all a big thumbs up from us.

The location of this hotel is spectacular, right between the historical River Douro and River Bestança, close to the incredible N-222 road. Had an amazing view from my room during my stay. As it was off season, the hotel was pretty empty, which was not a problem as I was able to get great breakfast and dinner in the property. There's free parking right next to the hotel. There are many small towns nearby to get supplies if needed and great opportunities for hiking and exploring.

Amazing view, really special place indeed, really nice pools for both kids & adults, water is warm. We also liked fresh food (good options for kids as well). The staff friendly (even though not all are willing to speak english). The room was perfect with additional sofa for 2 kids. Also we liked parking place very much.
