We did spend there 3 nights, around this 15/08, for business; and it was just splendid and grogeous. Staff is amazingly at his place and there when needed. The food and wines were of high standards. For us, everything was perfect - sure there were cosmetic improvements to be made but nothing to spoil our one night stay in a great apartment. Location was perfect for us - 8km from Toverland. The spacious accommodation was also exactly as described and what we wanted - double room, two single beds in another and spacious living area. The sauna in the large shower room was an added bonus. Breakfast was the full continental breakfast experience - fresh bread, cold meats, cheese, boiled eggs, salmon, fruit with ample coffee, tea and fruit juice. Overall a perfect location we had a delightful stay for a bargain price. We will be back on our next trip to the area. One thing to note is that our apartment (and two others) was reached by steep stairs and the twin room in the apartment had steep access stairs - not a problem for us but something to be aware of; make sure you check access if you are going to have issues.

Set in Tegelen, in a historic building, 23 km from Toverland, Villa Wambach is a recently renovated bed and breakfast with a seasonal outdoor swimming pool and garden.

This was 1 night stop on the way from France to Travemunde. Location is very convenient: very green and quiet place close to motorway. Very friendly and helpful hosts. The entire house is decorated by artefacts from all the world. Fantastic garden. The swimming pool was an excellent addition since the weather was hot.
