There is really nothing to dislike. We booked for 2 but stayed 4 nights. Nothing was ever to much for the staff. The people coming here, quite a lot of families (both younger and older kids, teenagers and young adults). Mostly people more experienced travelers, gathering around the pool in the afternoon sipping a great cocktail from the poolbar. The rooms are perfect (we tried 2). Spotless clean. People from breakfast really are helping out with special wishing (I am allergic to gluten and they took it very very serious). Don’t doubt, just book this amazing place!

The hotel was totally charming with lovely plants and decor reflecting the Mexican theme and many quirky and interesting objects d'art throughout. Quiet and opposite a small park yet all attractions nearby. A real bonus to have good A.C. as well as overhead fan and plenty of hot water. Leo the owner is on hand any time to assist with advice and recommendations. Every morning I was greeted with complimentary fresh juice, excellent coffee and a pastry even though breakfast is not offered...to me this is breakfast..a lovely surprise! Stay here if you visit Merida for a unique experience.

I really enjoyed my time at Hacienda Merida VIP. The building has historical charm and there’s no better way to feel the weight of Merida’s history. The room was very big and comfortable, with a balcony overlooking the swimming pool area. They actually had 3 pools, one for each section. One of the highlights is the location, right in the middle of the old town. Everything we wanted to visit was within a 10-minute walking distance. It was a great stay!

We spent 6 days at Hacienda San Pedro Nohpat with my wife and three kids (10,7,4). The place is beatufiul, the location is perfect to reach almost everything (Chichen Itzá, Uxmal, Celestún, etc.) The Hacienda itself had a great pool which was a blessing in that heat, especially for the kids. The manager Iona was really helpful, she gave us some perfect recommendations and ideas, what to check out. She even prepared for us a cool kit in the morning, I thougth that was especially thoughtful of her. The maids working at the hacienda were also very nice and helpful. We would happily recommend Hacienda San Pedro Nohpat to basically anyone.
