It's a nice little homestay tucked away from the strip. It truly is a 5 min walk from Lion Roc, so great location. The major point is that it's run by two lovely people. The owner offered to take me to Pidurangula at 4.30am because it was too far to walk. Then he cooked an incredible breakfast. Such a great place. I'd recommend it to everyone

The place, is really relaxing, nature surroundings give pleasure and the feeling as if in the jungle. Extremely clean room, comfy bed, full breakfast. The hotel is near the Sigiria, just 5 minutes to get to the entrance. Saman and his family are welcoming and nice people. You are like at your home here. The place to stay for sure. Wish you all best and thank you for your hospitability.

Beautiful rooms, new furnishings inside. The owner Dinusha is very kind, the staff is honest and good, Sunshine Villa really made Sigiriya a beautiful destination. They picked us up at Colombo airport and picked us up safely. In the evening they took us to see elephants at Minneriya National Park. They also had a night safari planned to see the night beauty of Sigiriya. Luckily for us, Sunshine Villa was the place to stay. We had a great experience. I recommend it 100%.

So i went there mid july with a friend, the place is so peaceful and calm in the middle of the woods , real close to the best view in sigiriya , the owner of the place is a sweetheart! So giving and caring , and treats you like family, breakfast is delicious ! Would go back !

The staff were very helpful and welcoming. We received an amazing breakfast on both mornings, more than we could ever eat and so tasty! The room was exceptionally clean and comfortable. There are lots of restaurants within walking distance.We really, really enjoyed our stay here!!

We booked 3 nights ended up staying for 6 nights nights in the accommodation and then came back a second time because it was so great! The small house with its many windows is simply very special. Starting with the furnishings, the cleanliness and the view. The family there, who are incredibly welcoming, genuinely good people as a bonus they prepare the best authentic home cooked food. As former farmers they take pride in there vegetable garden and are happy to show you what you are eating from garden to table.It's an amazing place to relax, surrounded by nature with the lake and the view of sigiriya. We can only recommend everyone to stay here. We will definitely come back as soon as we can. What you get for your money here is unimaginable elsewhere.

One of the easiest 5 stars to give by far. Place is super nice and comfortable, much better than many hotels. Breakfast was delicious and homemade.

Indika and Oolu made us feel at home, picking us up from the AirPort and welcoming us into their house. The tree house is spacious and very cosy. We had the best Kottku in their uncle’s restaurant. The swimming pool is the cherry on top for the Sigiriya weather!
