We stayed at this accommodation in Ella for a few days, and its location is simply the best. We checked out other places in the area, but nothing compares to this one. The view is absolutely spectacular, and we feel so lucky to have had the chance to stay here. The people were wonderful, and the family who runs the place made us feel truly at home. The surroundings were filled with nature, animals, and beautiful sounds, creating an unforgettable atmosphere. This is, without a doubt, the most beautiful place to stay in Ella!

This has been our best stay in Sri Lanka without doubt. Renu is an incredibly inspiring woman, mother and co-owner who will do everything in her power to make your stay intimate, comfortable and convenient. She puts an umbrella in front of your door when it rains; she looks out the window to see how far you are to prepare breakfast; she brings everything to your table and removes it quietly. Not to mention the room, with its high double roofed ceiling that makes you feel like you’re in a nest on a treetop. It’s spacious, spotless clean (no sign of dump despite daily rain in Ella) and everything works perfectly, even though it’s literally a hanging cottage. The view from the bed/balcony is breathtaking and different every day, and you even see the famous train passing at your feet. DIGITAL NOMADS: we had quite good wifi, enough for videocalls most times of the day, but bring a sim card with data just in case.

If I could give them 100 stars, I would! The place is so lovely, clean, views are spectacular and the food is amazing! The hosts are absolutely wonderful and went out of their way to ensure we were comfortable. The attention to detail and organization is really incredible. Some examples: they have travel multi point adaptors in the rooms, books and playing cards too! They also are extremely organized and the tuk tuk ride organized to the hotel was absolutely timed to perfection - ensuring we had a smooth arrival. I cannot praise the place is enough - rooms are great, views are better and service is the best!! Since they only have 2 rooms/ mini cottages available, hope you are lucky enough to experience staying with this lovely family! Thank you for the wonderful stay!

The host was super frienly and helpful. The location was great, a bit outside the busy main area, but still easily reachable by foot. The breakfast was delicious and we got s takeaway breakfast for our train ride.

Nice spot, a bit outside of the noisy area which we really enjoyed. Our terrace (where we also had breakfast) has an incredible view and the whole room was very clean and comfortable. Definitely recommend the Sri Lankan breakfast. Perfect stay if you are in Ella!
