The view from the bungalow on the surrounding hills of Ella is just stunning! Breakfast was served on the patio each morning, which was just the best start into the day. The breakfast was super delicious and special dietary requests were kindly considered. We had incredibly nice exotic fruit platters, delicious smoothies, pancakes, omelette, tea etc. The host Dom and his team were super attentive and lovely! They helped us arrange a driver, laundry service and provided us with tips around Ella. The bungalow is located in a pretty quiet area a little bit outside of Ella city centre, very close to the little Adam’s Peak and the infamous Nine Arches Bridge. You can reach the city centre by walking within 20-30 min or just by Tuktuk within 5-10 min. The room was spotless and offered everything we needed. There’s even a fridge, a coffee/tea station, tableware, shampoo, showergel, dental sets etc. We definitely recommend this place to anyone who’s planing to stay in Ella 👌

Janith, the host of the homestay was the loveliest person, very helpful with anything you need, you name it: an occasional eviction of a gecko from the room, the best restaurant recommendation in Ella (Cafe Samsara) or arranging a driver for us. In the morning we opted for the traditional Sri Lankan breakfast and it was the best breakfast we had during our entire trip, for sure.

Beautiful view of valley and waterfall, you can hear many peacocks during the day. Homeowners are very warm and welcoming they take good care of their guests. They have a tuktuk pickup service which is nice. Room was big and clean, breakfast is good (their curry is very good).

In our opinion the sweetest place to stay in Ella! The family is simply lovely and showed us great Sri Lankan hospitality. When we arrived sick from Hatton the owner and his family took care of us, drove us to the doctor and bought fresh king coconuts from the market just for us! When we recovered the owner was very helpful giving us tips and advises on what to see and how to get there with lovely hand-drawn maps. The view from the room is breathtaking with one of the most beautiful sunrises I’ve ever seen in Sri Lanka. The accommodation was perfect, the location is great and the breakfast is amazing with fruits pancakes coconut rotti and fruit juices. You can also rent a scooter just downstairs from Paraiso Guest House. Of course we highly recommend this stay!!
