The people here are so nice! They helped us to get to personal driver to Sigiriya and also helped us to get on the bus to Colombo! They are very lovely people. The room and breakfast are great too! The outdoor landscapes are definitely a plus point to this stay!

We had a fantastic stay at Green Edge which really shows its Japanese influence from the calm exterior decor through to the coffee and teas on offer, the immaculate bathroom and the hospitable hosts. We were given attentive care and felt so well looked after with a plentiful breakfast and fantastic speedy laundry of our clothes that were rain soaked.

Great guest house with a really big room, a nice mosquite net on the bed and the greatest bathroom during my whole sri lanka trip. The hotel is in a very quiet area and you can easily walk to the city within 5min. The owners made a great take-away breakfast for us because we left already at 4:30 in the morning.

the room was so comfortable and clean. ALL of the staff were so accommodating and friendly, my boyfriend had a nut allergy and they looked after him really well, taking him through the menu and buffet at breakfast/dinner. it’s a really peaceful place with lots of wildlife and a great pool :-)

Very very nicely designed cottages, lovely pool, lots of animals like monkeys and peacocks around to watch. Staff was extremely(!) nice and helpful, there are also free bicycles to use (the way to sigiriya rock is quite short, you will not need a motorized transport if you plan to go during daylight). Be sure to check out the owners brothers restaurant (sth restaurant) which is in walking distance to the cottage and will serve one of the best vegetable rice and curry there is. Strongly recommend a stay here.
