The staff was very friendly and nice, the private japanese room was big and beautiful with a view and also the common room was nice. Location is close to the Daishoin and the Itsukushima Shrine and Gate.

Only a 5-minute drive from Miyajima Ferry Port with its free shuttle, beautiful ocean views can be enjoyed from Miyajima Seaside Hotel.

Wonderful dinner, onsen, breakfast, views from the room. We loved our stay! The shuttle makes it very convenient to get to the hotel, but it's a lovely walk if you would like to walk a little bit. The shuttle also runs at night if you want to take a night walk to see the Miyajima views in the night lights!

The staff were warm and welcoming, the room, bathroom and onsen facilities were immaculate and the food was the highlight. This was one of the most serene places I’ve ever visited, I fell asleep hearing a little stream outside my room and a casual garden stroll in the walking trail close to the ryokan gave me a scenic close encounter with the local deer. Highly recommend booking your stay to include dinner and breakfast to experience the culinary tradition of the region.

Amazing room, location and views. Kaiseke dinner was expensive but superb and well worth it.

Renewed in 2013, Sakuraya offers affordable Japanese-style rooms with mountain or sea views. Free Wi-Fi is available at the public areas. Miyajima Ferry Terminal is a 3-minute walk away.

The location is great. The hotel is not far from the ferry terminal and from the tourist sights. The room was spacious and clean. The staff was very friendly and helpful, we received a few useful tips about exploring the island.

Situated within 2.3 km of Tsutsumigaura Beach and 600 metres of Five Storey Pagoda, Miyajima Hotel Makoto provides rooms with air conditioning and a private bathroom in Miyajima.

The hotel lays on a perfect distance from the ferry, but in the nicer quieter area. We had a spacious room with a view on the sea and pier. The staff was very friendly and helpful. We enjoyed the dinner and breakfast very much. Relaxed and welcoming atmosphere. The public bath (onsen) is also available. Everything is there. They make your bed during your dinner.

Reopened in April 2014 after renovations, Miyajima Morinoyado offers comfortable guest rooms and a spacious public bath.

Lovely hotel. Excellent breakfast, we did not opt for the dinner, so I cannot comment. I used the bath onsen twice and it was very clean and relaxing. We were able to use the shuttle to the hotel which was nice. We walked back to the ferry on the last day, which is an easy 25 minute stroll. I would recommend climbing Mt Misen, it was a great climb with some temples on the way, and we took the ropeway back down.

Oyado Tsukiusagi is set in Miyajima, 600 metres from Five Storey Pagoda, less than 1 km from Itsukushima Shrine, as well as a 15-minute walk from Daisho-in Temple.
