The host was super welcoming and friendly, gave me recommendations and even lent me rainboots for a day to help me get through Kanazawa's wet streets. He also put me in a tatami room instead of the stockbed room I'd booked, since it was free during my stay. Room, kitchen, shared bathrooms - the guesthouse was perfectly clean and everything worked. The location was also convenient, you step out of the house and immediately are in one of the pretty areas.

I am very happy and privileged to stay in a hotel that is maintained like a century-old monument. The carpets are clean and comfortable. The room has a very comfortable aroma of incense, and there is no old mold at all. It feels like entering a charming Japanese restaurant, but you have to check in and stay. The landlord's English skills are very good and communication is smooth. The service is very trustworthy. Even though it is very late to use the hot spring bath, he will still maintain and clean it.
