Perfectly located with a view of Sakurajima, just 10 minutes from the Sakurajima ferry, aquarium, and the high-speed boat terminal to Yakushima. It’s also around 15 minutes on foot from Tenmonkan and the lively bar and izakaya streets. The rooms are spacious, extremely clean, and very comfortable. The breakfast was excellent – with both traditional Japanese and Western options to choose from. Highly recommended to everyone – we only wish we could have stayed longer!

Definitely a classy hotel, I liked mostly the interior design, a huge hall, a large stairwell allowing you to look up to the last floor, broad room.

Opened in 2012, Solaria Nishitetsu Hotel Kagoshima is just a 2-minute walk from JR Kagoshima-Chuo Train Station and features a French restaurant and massage services.
