Very pleasant stay! View onto the Dome Church. and market square - no way to be more central in Pavia. Due to travelling in a quiet period, it was also no problem at all to leave later than the official check out time, the bonus is that the personnel offered this without us asking. It's really great to be treated as guests instead of customers (with wallets - or worse, consumers...).We'll surely visit again.

The apartment is lovely, clean, and spacious. It is in a quiet area of Pavia, surrounded by nature but only a few minutes away from the centre by bus. The host did her utmost to help us in whatever we needed.

Room was big with an even bigger bathroom, private parking was a nice addition, strategically positioned between Milan and Pavia. Breakfast was very good.

From the friendly welcome, after an easy cycle ride along the canal path from Pavia, until the time I departed contentedly after 2 nights, everything suited my needs perfectly. It was raining outside but my room was well furnished with a table and chair, a heater that worked, and a comfortable bed. I loved the garden, the ducks, Alpha the goat and the secure storage for my bike. Breakfast was good value, there was a restaurant with the best meal I have had so far in Italy just a few minutes walk away, the fascinating monastery of Certosa di Pavia was just a few minutes by bike.

Set in San Genesio ed Uniti, the elegant Hotel Riz is a 10-minute drive from historic Pavia. Rooms are spacious and have a classic design. Parking and WiFi are free.

Place to park the car, just in front of the room, with roof. Cleanliness, very nice staff. Direct access to outside of the room for our dog pooping, (quite usefull in the middle of night)
