The hotel is in a beautiful location right next to the busy harbour but also right in the historic heart of Agropoli. All the staff are very kind and helpful - the management (Antonio & Francesco), the breakfast staff and the room cleaners are brilliant. The breakfast is as expected being mainly pastries and some savouries but it is more than enough to start the day. Agropoli is 99.9% Italians which makes it the perfect authentic experience. Say hello to Alberto and Vincenzo who rent the kayaks next to the hotel.

La Sciabica is in Agropoli's harbour, on a panoramic spot of the Cilento Coast. All rooms are air-conditioned and have a balcony with sea view. Apartments are also available.

I have memories of the fine pensiones in Italy in the 60s. This was that place in the 21st century. Plus a restaurant kitchen and staff for the decades. I thought Agropoli would be "out of the way". This is the way.

Great location, very close to the city of Agropoli and half an hour from Castellabate. The owner is very nice and friendly and gave us great tips about dining. Will definitely book this property again.

We spent a wonderful eight days with my daughter. Very pleased with the services we received, the individual approach and care for each guest, the kindness and willingness to meet the requests and needs of the guests. Top hygiene in all hotel facilities (the restaurant, rooms, pool and common public areas). Excellent food and service in the restaurant (of the hotel and of the neighboring sister hotel Savoy where dinner was served if the hotel restaurant was not open). Through local specialties and wines, we got to know Italy and the Campania region better. The organization of weddings in the hotel gave an additional charm, I mention this because the majority of comments refer to this very thing. The music of the wedding celebrations was not loud, and the time of rest was observed. The hotel's beach bar 93 also offer free sunbeds with umbrellas, bottled drinking water and towels, with the option of a light meal on the beach or lunch in the restaurant. You can use bikes for free to explore the surroundings and the nearby amazing archaeological site in Paestum. Boat tour to Amalfi Coast from Salerno highly recommended :)

Our third time staying with Paolo and Concetta and they never disappoint. Their hospitality is fantastic, as is the food, wine and company. The rooms are spacious and clean, with amazing views over the valley. We'll be back (outside of the summer to take more advantage of local hiking trails :-)

The host was very nice and helpful, our room was lovely (and we got an upgrade!) with a jacuzzi in the room, tasty breakfast was provided in a cafe close by with lovely staff, free parking available
