A nice hotel, a bit fat away from the main street. For ne it was a plus, the hotel is in a really beautiful environment. The staff was extremely friendly and nice. I would recommend to everyone that plans to drive all the ring road and to ehi plans to stay some days for exploring the area.

Great and spacious rooms (we had tried the Japanese inspired junior suite and then 1 night in the large suite), both offered great space (latter with a jacuzzi in the room). Overall excellent service across full experience, great restaurant and beautiful peaceful landscape. Additionally, star gazing observatory is very nice and guide explains the beautiful skyscape. We got super lucky and caught the Northern Lights for over an hour during the star gazing tour!

Extremely friendly staff. Although we arrived very late we could still have a drink at the very charming bar. The lodge is very beautiful and is located by beautiful surroundings. The room is very cosy and comfortable. Breakfast is really good.

I simply loved this place! It's a piece of heaven in very quiet surroundings. I felt very much at home plus I was the only guest that night, so I had everything to myself. I was fortunate to see the volcano eruption from the window, while looking for the Northern Lights. Bed was super comfortable and the shower was very nice.

We spent 5 nights in the guest house. Nice, cozy place in quiet area with farms all around, yet close to the main road. Super comfortable beds, we had a perfect sleep every night after the long days exploring Iceland. In the room we had also a shower and a little kitchen, with all the things we needed for making food. Host Helena was very helpful and easy to communicate with and made sure we had everything we needed for our stay. Thank you Helena! We will be back next summer! 😊
