Attentive and helpful staff, very good location (walking distance to the main attractions) super clean and good breakfast. We definitely recommend this guest house.

Previously owned by the Maharaj of Madri and restored to its current state, Madri Haveli features elegant rooms with stained glass windows. The area around it is conserved for tourist heritage walk.

Best hotel I’ve stayed at in India so far. Incredible staff, everything was perfect. I arrived very sick and they really helped look after me.

Booked a Grand Lake View through booking.com. We were upgraded to a room with balcony - and we did not have a direct view of the lake as the balcony oversaw the inner garden, city, mountains and a partial view of the lake. Despite that, we really enjoyed our stay. The staff was very attentive and friendly. During the evening there was a troupe of local folk singers that entertained the guests with their singing. The food was delicious - and the buffet is recommended since ordering ala carte would end up adding to the same amount. Would recommend trying their signature malpua - it was fantastic. The complimentary chaat counter during the evening was amazing. Do sit by the lake during the evening or after dinner for a peaceful experience.

Amazing location, excellent reception staff, attentive service at restaurant. From the time we arrived till we left the high quality of service did not change. Absolutely outstanding property. We've travelled around the world. You make us proud that there could be a wonderful place such as yours for service, maintenence of property and impeccable attention by the staff to every single request. Even the IT person was sent to our room to help us connect to WiFi. Not even New York hotels provide us with such service. The way the hotel is run speaks for a high quality management that's on par with top most hotels in the world. You have done India proud. We chatted with other guests while we were there. Best place that we have stayed in world. Unique location. Very good service. The spa is extraordinary ad the treatments unique. Very nice pool area. Th room was spacious and the view to the palace amazing. Very good breakfast with a great variety.

An absolute Perl right there in the heart of Udaipur! The location, the rooms, the staff- everything was just beyond expectations! The hotel itself looks like something out of „ a thousand arabien nights“ with a high standard of cleanliness and love for detail. The breakfast is very good. The rooms have AC, hot water and the WiFiconnection doesn’t disappoint. But the best thing about this place were the people! The staff is truly amazing! They helped me with everything and met every request with a smile. They really went out of their way to make this stay a wonderful one. The first words I heard were „ don’t worry you are home now“ and although I had some issues with my luggage not arriving from Mumbai and a couple of meltdowns due to this it really felt like I had a home away from home! So thank you again for everything and I highly recommend staying in this beautiful hotel while being in Udaipur!
