Everything was perfect! Loved our room with balcony and amazing view. Really enjoying staying in this family-run hotel with charming hosts. It was a great stop off on our Parenzena bike tour (excellent bike storage). The breakfast is fantastic- do not miss this! Only regret is had I known in advance i would have organised an extra day into our itinerary to do the truffle hunting with them - next time! 100% recommend staying here, you will not be disappointed.

I truly cannot find one thing that wasn't to our satisfaction. Rooms were clean as was the rest of the facility. Staff were very helpful and pleasant.

Rita’s place was simply gorgeous, tastefully + beautifully with understated decor, so comfortable and so relaxing with stunning views. And Rita was so very kind and friendly!

The family-owned Casa Romantica La Parenzana is a rugged former farmhouse with thick stone walls, wooden beams and open fireplaces, offering fine Istrian cuisine and free internet.

We stayed at the residence for two nights and I’m sorry we couldn’t stay longer :) the place is great, very cosy, with a great swimming pool. And the host is very welcoming and kind. We will for sure come back.

My 4th stay here, so I can only repeat: I have been traveling in Croatia since many years - meanwhile in all 21 counties (županije incl. Zagreb) - and I must have stayed in more than 30 different guesthouses and hotels. From the smallest family pension in the countryside to large 4-star hotels. And the Boutique Hotel Vela Vrata was one of my very best experiences ever! :D Beautiful, lovely decorated house and very clean room with nice furniture. This time I treated myself to the Junior Suite with balcony and the large room with its beautiful antique mirror is really a hit! Very friendly staff, SUPER breakfast with fresh and high quality food from a large selection!!! :D Well working WiFi, free parking and I also like the big indoor pool very much. Buzet itself is very romantic and beautiful. This time I have stayed for two nights on my way home to Dalmatia. The Hotel has a really supreme restaurant and it was wonderful to eat again one of the best dinner I had ever in Croatia. Another perfect stay and I will quite sure stay here again. Hvala vama od srca!
