We were very happy with our apartment which is situated a few meters and a few stairs away from the Monemvasia main gate (please note that you have to carry your suitcases or backpacks because of the cobble stones). The apartment is nicely furnished, offers a great view on the ocean from the windows (+ from the bed :)) and also has amenities like a coffee machine & coffee tabs. The owners have a store downstairs where you can get the keys and buy their local products like olive oil, wine or skin care. We had some problems with noise from the opposite bar one night because they tend to play loud music on Saturdays and the hosts did all they can to make up for it, even though it was not their fault and we really appreciated it. In terms of hospitality, these were one of the nicest hosts we have met so far.

We were upgraded to a beautiful room by the very friendly and hospitable hosts. Our room was spotlessly clean and very cosy and warm (we stayed during winter). We had breakfast outdoors in a sunny courtyard; the food was simple, fresh and tasty.

We drove from Olympia through Sparta to Kinsterna Hotel. After driving through what might say a little bit run down villages it was unbelievable experience to arrive at this oasis. Everything was so beautiful, the food and staff impeccable! We stayed for 2 nights and took an took a hike in the island of Monemvasia, which is like another world. The only tiny thing which i thing I did not like was the English pop-music played in the restaurant. I would have preferred some Greek or instrumental music, but that is probable just me 😊

The staff were very friendly and helpful with all of our questions. The place was very clean and the cleaning lady was really cheerful. We also got to try some local wine courtesy of the owner.

“Trust me, It’s paradise”. Excellent place with swimming pool. Well equipped apartment with balcony. We had family room. Every morning fresh home made breakfast and orange juice. Parking for every guest. Around a lot of beautiful beaches to explore. Happy to choose this place.

This is a fantastic family hotel !!! A really hidden place nearby Monemvasia... amazing view, nice pool, possible to swim directly in the sea, exceptional food and the service is great !!!!! Everyone should book this hotel, impossible to find a better place in this area.
