We booked a standard room for a single night to celebrate our anniversary. On arrival, we were told that we had been upgraded to a bigger room at the front desk. When we got to the room, we were so pleasantly surprised due to the beautiful features of the room. There was a beautiful star lit bath, kitchenette & living room suite downstairs and upstairs, the bathroom and bedroom. We had such a wonderful weekend & will be back in the near future to try the restaurant and spa facilities! Thank you for a lovely stay!!

Absolutely fantastic staff 😊 felt relaxed as soon as we stepped into the hotel Faith the receptionist was so helpful and professional , the food was fantastic and freshly prepared and cooked to perfection Gemma, Karen and all the staff were amazing and so helpful and nothing was too much trouble for them I would really recommend the Village Hotel to anyone either with children or not as they are fantastic at looking after families or couples or people on business trips. We will now be using the Village Hotel when ever we visit family again in the midlands 😊

We had an amazing time here! A special thanks to Anu, the receptionist, who checked us in and provided us with all the information we needed about the hotel. This hotel definitely offers good value for money! There are plenty of free parking spaces, and the location is great if you have a car. It was pretty quiet, we didn’t hear the motorway, even though it’s close by. Our room was clean, and the bed and pillows were comfortable. We had an iron and hairdryer in the room, and the shower pressure was good. The heating worked well, and we didn’t have any issues with it. The only thing missing in the room was a fridge, but it wasn’t a big deal. Breakfast was good with a lot of choices. While it may not be amazing, it’s quite decent by UK standards and suitable for the level of the hotel.

I enjoyed the breakfasts, each morning brought a selection options that added a pleasant start to the day. The staff were incredibly welcoming and accommodating, contributing to the overall warmth and friendliness of the experience. Moreover, the hotel's proximity to both the city centre and the railway station made it exceptionally convenient for exploring the area or commuting. The room itself was a true sanctuary; spacious and well-appointed, it provided a comfortable retreat after a day of activities. I especially appreciated the kitchenette in the room.
