Superb service in a gem of a hotel - welcoming, courteous and endlessly helpful. Nothing was too much trouble for Natalie and her team. The restaurant is also outstanding, excellent food, and again, excellent service. In every respect this is an exceptional place to stay.

Everything. Kes and her staff went out of their way to make our stay a memorable one. The units were spacious and comfortable. The atmosphere was warm and happy. We stayed at 7 venues during the month we spent in the UK. The Horse and Groom was by far the best. Indeed, we were so comfy that we just stayed on in the Cotswolds for the remainder of our vacation instead of travelling on to Ireland and Wales as planned. We will be back. .

The location, in the middle of the town common was so much fun. Livestock of all kinds, mingled together with the golfers. We enjoyed the rather grew-like-topsy floor plan for the public rooms on the ground floor, resulting in numerous interesting nooks and crannies for drinks and snacks. The breakfast was good. Lunch was excellent; we regret not giving the kitchen a try for dinner. Our room was clean and bright with a lovely outlook over the cows on the common.
