Beautiful Hunting Lodge on the banks of Loch Lochy with great view. Very hospitable and courteous staff who gave valuable inputs on other things to do in and around the Highlands. Room was very posh n extremely comfortable.

So I booked a night at the Whispering Lodge as a splurge for our UK road trip. I was a little nervous leading up to our stay because I was worried the place wouldn't match the pictures. Boy, was I wrong! If you are wondering if the stay is worth the price, the answer is yes. The location is just as gorgeous as the pictures and the view from the room did not disappoint at all. The rooms themselves are also decorated to match the highland atmosphere. We were pleasantly surprised by the Pebble Beach and that we could go down to the loch. We LOVED our stay.

Letterfinlay Lodge House, a property with a garden, is situated in Letterfinlay, 27 km from Caledonian Canal, 43 km from Loch Linnhe, as well as 48 km from Glenfinnan Station Museum.

Amazing views, we were upgraded to a suite (because we let the host know we were on our honeymoon) and it was the nicest thing ever! We loved it so much, we spent most of our evening indoors (it was also raining lightly), watching tv, reading and enjoying the amazing terrace. Even if not on a honeymoon, hehe, I would highly recommend booking the suite, especially if you are staying longer than one night and you wish to cook, the kitchen is absolutely marvelous. it was impeccable in terms of cleanliness and comfort, the host was very responsive and you are provided a booklet with all the information on what to do, where to eat and how to best plan your days around Letterfinlay. Directly next to the accommodation there is a fancy hotel (Black sheep chain) where you can have some dinner, a drink at their pub or even use some wellness services.

Obviously the setting! In the grounds of Inverlochy Castle Hotel, spectacular countryside. Rooms spacious and super comfortable. The factor's Inn Country Pub was located in the same building as apartments and offered an excellent dinner with a limited menu.

Lovely staff who are very helpful. Comfortable beds, we slept very well. Well appointed with nice amenities. Good wifi. Lots of parking. And a restaurant on-site that has the best Eggs Lochabar ever! I would highly recommend staying here when in Ft William.

Lovely cosy cabins with full size single mattresses. The rooms come with a TV, kettle, bug zapper and a radiator. The kitchen area was basic although we did not use it during our visit.
