Elderslie is situated in a beautiful part of Oban just on the outskirts. It's surrounded by trees and a picturesque view and very quiet. It's about a 25 minute walking distance to the town centre which is perfect. The couple who own it are really lovely, so friendly and can't do enough for you. Also, unlike some places in Oban, they don't lock you out after a certain time at night, so you can come and go as you please. My room was beautifully decorated and well presented, very clean.

We were greeted right way. Very friendly. Just a 5 minutes walk to downtown which can get quote busy. Beautiful view of Oban. We had the main room on the main floor. Larger than I expected.

It is an exceptional hotel. The location is great (10 min walk to the pier and city center), the view is breathtaking - Kerrara island, Isle of Mull, Oban view, the hotel is beautifully decorated and very cozy. The room (suite) was big, clean and beautiful. The breakfast was tasty with big choice. A special thank you to Declan for his cocktails and nice stories about the region. We will come back!

Such a beautifully appointed place to stay, with wonderful old paintings everywhere and a reading room with a grand piano. Our room was so cozy and beautiful! The shower was excellent. The tea selection was wonderful and they even had oat milk! Wonderful location, just a few minutes walk up to the hill to McCaig’s Tower and just a few minutes walk down the hill to the harbor and lots of bars and restaurants. Alec (sp?) was a lovely host.

On top of breathtaking location, where we got to eat with a view of the Loch, the staff were super helpful, really friendly and efficient!
