We booked a suite with a river view and it was the most beautiful place! we had such a pleasant surprise when entering the suite (more like a little house) . Everything was in good taste and we loved the night we spent there. The location is fantastic and waking up to the view of the river was amazing. The breakfast was delicious and with many options to choose from and the dining room was so special.

Beautiful location near the lake and main trail up to Ben Lomond. Cosy rooms with comfortable beds and great heating which is really nice in winter. Hearty cooked breakfast with several choices and lovely ambiance of the restaurant.

Set up like a lovely guest house, it's newly renovated we had a king room and it was spacious. There is no fridge which could be an issue if there for longer than a night or 2. There was no fresh milk on arrival but the host was happy to give us some which was lovely. It was a comfortable stay but the best part of was the breakfast that was included and offered in their beautiful dining room, felt like home.
