The cottage is cute and fully updated (you'd never know it was once the police station!). Adam was very generous and allowed us to store our luggage in the garage while we hiked up Beinn Dubn.

Beautiful apartment in a very quiet location but with easy access to a major road. Exceptionally clean and well appointed. The wood-burner is a nice addition for the colder months, we used it just for the atmosphere even though it wasn't really cold. Ample on-site parking

Wonderful setting with a pleasant short walk to the park looking out on to the water and a stylish inn with a true “unusual” touch. The dining area was enriched with old grandfather clocks, wooden saws, old typewriters, stuffed animals, hanging branches creating a true feeling woodland lodge. Food, drinks and staff perfect

Situated literally on the West Highland Way, it’s the perfect refuge after completing the second day. The huge shower was also welcome. Very kind staff, from reception to bar, everybody was excellent. Had great food and a couple of drinks in a nice environment.

Located in Helensburgh, the Moorlands offers free WiFi and free onsite parking. With beautiful gardens, this detached Victorian property is just 15 minutes' walk from the coast.

Leslie and Simon are excellent hosts with a sense of maintaining the historic feel of their home. We particularly liked our tastefully furnished room in historical style. Also being able to play billiards was perfect for our family. In the morning there was a very good breakfast in the wonderfully set breakfast room.
