The hotel is several buildings alongside a lake – there are several lakes in the area – outside of Cirencester. You'll need a car to get here but once here it´s a tranquil experience but, perhaps, not during weekends when lots of people go to the countryside in order to eat, drink and sleep. It is a rather large complex with many buildings but it comes across as small because of it´s layout. Breakfast was excellent with options that can satisfy everybody. A full English breakfast and you don´t need to eat again until late afternoon.

Meals including breakfasts were outstanding Evening meals were restaurant quality Landlord ( Jasmine) went out of her way to make sure everything was in place, on time and presented in a most friendly manner. Highest quality we have encountered!

We stayed at the hotel for the RIAT, amazing staff and excellent location. The rooms were much larger than we expected. The area around the hotel has a variety of cafes and restaurants.

This place was delightful and what we felt was a "true glimpse" of the Cotswolds. Our room was ample, had its own ensuite, and was blissfully quiet. Our evening meal was delicious and both the owner and his wife were very welcoming. The breakfast was also excellent and set us up for our trip the next day.
