Modern architecture with an eye toward tradition and blending into the landscape, the common areas enjoy panoramic views of the countryside. Staff was also wonderful and welcoming. Rooms are spacious, finished with interesting materials and furniture; we enjoyed a small porch with a seating area as well. It is a 5 minute walk from the monastery and the famed Ruta de Pedra y Auga along the Rio Armenteira - which was why we wanted to stay in the area. Finally, the complimentary breakfast truly is one of the best you can find anywhere (and perhaps the only one you will find nearby), which makes the overall cost very reasonable.

I stayed in the newly renovated part of the property and it was very nice. The bed is in a separate room and is very comfortable; the open-plan kitchen is fully equipped. There is integrated heating (I assume it also functions as air conditioning in the summer), which is fantastic in autumn/winter and not something you find everywhere.

The room was lovely, the view of the water also. The bed was very comfortable but it was one staff member who made it exceptional for me. She went over and above to make sure that I was cared for.

Upon our arrival, the host warmly welcomed us back, and her genuine kindness immediately made us feel at home. It's rare to find such a friendly and attentive host, and her hospitality truly enhanced our stay. We felt valued and cared for throughout our time at the accommodation. One of the highlights of this place is its proximity to the peaceful and magnificent beach. We could easily take leisurely walks along the shore, enjoying the soothing sound of crashing waves and the refreshing sea breeze. It was a perfect escape from the hustle and bustle of everyday life. The rural landscape surrounding the property is nothing short of magical. We were able to gaze out at the picturesque countryside, with its rolling hills and lush greenery, right from our windows. It was a truly tranquil and serene environment, allowing us to unwind and reconnect with nature. Everything about our stay was perfect. The accommodation itself was comfortable, well-maintained, and provided all the amenities we needed. The cleanliness was impeccable, and the attention to detail was evident in every aspect. We lacked for nothing during our time there. Based on my unforgettable experience, I can confidently say that if I have the opportunity to visit Spain again, I will undoubtedly choose to return to this wonderful accommodation. Its combination of a warm and welcoming host, breathtaking surroundings, and proximity to a peaceful beach makes it a truly exceptional place to stay.
