An absolutely wonderful place to stay and well worth the short detour from the Camino. Great communication before my stay, friendly and very helpful staff who made me feel at home and thought of everything I could need before I knew I needed it - recommending a walk by the river, putting the fire in the lounge on, suggesting dinner options, offering a lift in the morning back to the Camino. Beautiful and peaceful setting, the room was lovely and breakfast was excellent, highly recommend!

This is a special place; historic and beautifully restored. A sanctuary close to the Cathedral. The front desk reception staff were exemplary. This was my third time staying here, and i have always experienced this level of service.
