Exceptional attention and care. Yes, the hotel is a little dated but its old-school charm is refreshingly NOT white-walled, ikea-fied Boho-chic. Very well positioned, room with windows opening out over the water, got showers, towels, comfy bed, plenty of space. Parking is paid(as is typical) and a small walk from hotel, but we were accompanied by staff to find it. A great relief they had this as street parking was completely full throughout the town on arrival.

We stayed here in April with friends while walking the Camino del Norte. The rooms are new (or newly refinished), clean, and nicely furnished. The owner is very hospitable and helpful. We ate a simple, tasty dinner and good breakfast as well at Rincon de Yaxu. Highly recommend!
