The receptionist was exceptional, she really tried to help me with planning other venues, she is a credit to the hotel. Only a short walk to the ferry.

A great location if you’re looking for peace and a safe environment. The hotel is very clean and comfortable. The bathroom had a very good magnifying mirror. Lovely outside spaces to sit and relax. Very easy free parking right outside the hotel. The little village is beautiful and has a couple of restaurants. A short car ride to the seaside resort of Laredo. Fabulous walks from the hotel to some beautiful deserted beaches.

A very nice stay! They send you the instructions for arrival and the key code the day of arrival. The room was simple but clean. I was able to park my motorcycle right in front of the entrance. It's a small village with a few restaurants and bars.

La Posada de Gallos lies in the town of Escalante, Cantabria. The building is over 100 years old and offers charming rooms with free Wi-Fi, and a typical restaurant.

Value for money. I loved the closed wooden balcony (pic.). Make-up mirror in the bath. AC was excellent. Staff go out of their way to satisfy you. There was a misunderstanding with something I ordered for dinner. These things happen when you don't speak the native language. Even though I insisted on paying, they did not charge me. Very professional!! The most important of all - Congratulations to the chef ---- magnificent cuisine!!! ADVICE FOR PILGRIMS---treat yourself and go to Escalante. You don't have to stay in Laredo, Santoña, Noja, etc. Escalante is a 15min. bus ride away. Buses run all day. Check it out.

Set on a large estate with extensive gardens and protected woodland, Parador de Limpias is in the Cantabrian country town of Limpias. It has an outdoor pool, tennis courts and a padel court.

The place is stunning 🤩, the pool is perfect with a nice view, the staff is friendly and kind. The best is the room, the bed is super comfortable and the jacuzzi is the best you can find after a long walking day in the camino the Santiago. Even if the price is higher for the pilgrim route it really worth to pay it to have a pleasant stay and recharge batteries, it worth it. The restaurant is amazing, is a gem in this small village, great food and a lot of options in the menu and super kind staff.
