It was a good inexpensive hotel for the end of my Camino. The bed was comfortable. There was a lift to all floors, a bar and a dining room. Bedrooms were adequately equipped and water and toiletries provided and a kettle. Staff were professional and helpful. It catered for a lot of walkers. I opted for the reasonably priced breakfast and had food I wanted for breakfast! Juice, coffee, Meusli, nuts, bread cheese meats, fruit etc. There were plenty of towels in the room.

Super location. Close to everything but just enough removed. Had a beautiful sea view from my sky light windown.Rooms are also very nice as are the grounds and staff and there is a beautiful on site pool.

We stayed for one night but would have happily stayed much longer. Everything was perfect for us. The location is fabulous - a pleasant 15 mins walk to the glorious Carnota beach, and just 2 mins to the famous Carnota hórreo, the longest in Spain. The rooms were spotless, chic and very comfortable, with towels, toiletries and a lovely view to the sea in the distance. What makes O Prouso super special is Pedro, the owner, who looked after us wonderfully well. He knew what we wanted before we did! He reserved us a table in the bar, made us a delicious chicken and potato dish for dinner…all without us speaking a word of Spanish! Everyone at O Prouso obviously works very hard to make guests feel comfortable, welcomed and catered for and Pedro is the perfect host. The bar beneath the rooms was lively and popular with locals, a real slice of Galician life. Marvellous! Highly recommend. We’d love to come back.

Wow. The location is simply breath taking. It is utterly beautiful and so quiet. The room was ultra cosy and the bed was amazing. We had been travelling around Galicia and this was our last stop; the weather had turned grey & misty so we just hung out at the hotel, relaxed & read - the perfect end to the trip. The staff were charming & smiley all the time. Great homemade breakfast.
